The Jewel and Randolph Yearwood Education Technology Foundation was established by Dave and Jo-Anne Yearwood to honor the memory of Dave’s parents, Jewel and Randolph Yearwood to serve the educational needs of teachers, students, and local, national, and international communities.
The vision of the Jewel and Randolph Yearwood Education Technology Foundation is to provide access to 21st century technological tools to further educational opportunities.
The mission of the Jewel and Randolph Yearwood Education Technology Foundation is two-fold: To provide,
- Faculty, students, and community leaders with access to technological tools and for them to use these tools in creative ways to leverage educational opportunities.
- Technical and pedagogical training for anyone working with pre-school through community college students, adult learners, and community centers.
